    I am using Google on OS XP Pro and I am trying to find a way to delete the keyword drop down history. Not the internet URL history or the Google tool bar history. When I type anything in the keyword bar on any search engine a list of all the thing I typed befor is still there. What can I do? Is there a way to delete this, maybe a program I can use?

    Click on the one you want to remove so that it's higlighted and then press the delete key.

    Don't know if it works with the Google toolbar, but it's worth a shot. Regseeker has an option under the Histories button for listing typed URLs, which can then be deleted, all or selectively. I uncheck the backup feature when using this and the cookies feature.

    How to clear "ALL" or delete "individual" Google's past searched Keywords from the Googles dropdown list:
    http://toolbar.google.com/faq.html#clear_history

    IE's Autocomplete feature may be thrown into the mix: (just in case something is cross-referenced by using google as IEs default search)
    http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;217148

    "Regedit Users ", "Do it your-selfers" or the just plain "Curious ": (there may be other hkeys but these are in my Tip_logs)
    This is the registry key with the list of urls for google dropdown "KeyWord Filter" used in a search: (pick one or all from the list and delete)
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Google\NavClient\1.1\History

    This is IE's: (pick one or all from the list and delete)
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\InternetExplorer\TypedURLs

    =============
    If this doesn't supply the nfo how-tos that your looking for, let me know and I'll post a more thorough :D "booklet" as opposed to this "condensed version" :D.
