I just booted my computer and went to a site that requires Javascript. However, the Javascript fails and what i see is something like Korean Characters. I tried other sites and the problem still exists. I know something is wrong with my computer's Javascript, and I do not know if there is any Java Programs that I may download and install it to fix it. Anyone have a solution?
Your help will be greatly appreciated
Thank you.

Javascript and Java are two totally different animals. Which one's the problem? Javascript or Java? If you have some sort of scripting problem, Sun's Java won't help.
Thanks for all your help. My Javascript is enabled. However, it still did not come out. What I did was i reinstalled IE6, and it still cannot work. So i put my OS disc in and use the repair function. It reinstalled everything. Next, i install SP1 (I got it burned in a disc instead of downloading it everytime, SP1 takes eternity to download). Then, everything was back to normal! It worked fine. Anyone with the same problem can try to do what a did
I lost all my javascript functionality the other night with no changes to my machine.
I run Cookie Cop as a proxy (all traffic is routed through it. It sorts cookies, scans javascript for cookies, stops popups, acts as a DNS cache, blocks ads, blocks selected sites, etc.) and Agnitum Outpost Firewall.
Javascript worked fine with both disabled, or with either one enabled, but not with both! That after several months of their working fine together.
Uninstalled and reinstalled both. No dice. Checked all settings umpteen times. No difference.
Reinstalled Windows Scripting Host. No change.
Reregistered all the dll's. No difference.
Changed to Sygate firewall, and all is fine.
I'll probably never know why javascript in particular was affected, but it's working now
