Where can we download a complete version of IE

    Greetings,

Does any one know where to download the full version of internet explorer 5.5 or higher WITHOUT using the auto download feature.

Iwould like to have the latest version put onto a cd so I can use that for my 40 clients.

I know microsoft has this CD available, but then this is where I get cheap and I don't want to pay for shipping. errrrrr or is it that MS has to many all around fee's?

    Thanks in advance.

    Kevin

If you mean downloading all the IE files for offline/later installation, try this:

    http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;257249

I couldn't get the instructions to work to save my life. BUT...if you put ie6setup.exe into the directory where you want to put the files, then either type the following line, or put it into a .bat file...it'll work. I haven't tried it from within Windows, but rather I cranked up a command prompt and moved into the directory. Then I issued the command. Note that you will also get a prompt asking where you want to download the files, so you COULD put them elsewhere, I suppose, but I elected not to do so.

    ie6setup.exe /c: "ie6wzd.exe /d:1 /s:" "#E "

    Hope this helps.
