Won't Load 'Applets'

Hello,
My Internet Explorer 6.0 won't load Applets, so I can't see scrolling text, or certain 'password protectors' when I go to a website. This becomes very annoying. I am using IE 6.0 for a browser, and Windows XP Pro for a OS. I was hoping that someone on here would know how to fix my problem.

Have you tried resetting your advanced options? To do so open an IE window, click on Tools, Internet Options, click on the Advanced tab, click on Restore Defaults.

See if this fixes the problem.

I tried that a little while back, but evidentally forgot to reply. It didn't work I get 'most' of these problems when trying to load chat applications & such. Not all of the same brand.

Thanks for your help,
