Outlook express - settings have changed???

Starting today, when I go to check messages in my sent box, the animated gifs are not appearing. Am using outlook express 6 & even the other messages in my sent box have an attachment of my message itself & also the gif I have sent with this message.
This has not happened before today, as I can always read the sent messages exactly as I have sent them. I have looked into the view menu, but not sure what I am looking for to change????
Hoping someone can help me with this problem.
Thanks,
Lucy

Lucy--Not sure I entirely understand the situation, but click OE Tools|Options|Send tab|in Mail Sending Format section click "Html Settings". Is there a check in the box "Send pictures with messages"? If not check the box and click Apply|OK.

Welshjim,

Hi, I'm Lucy's Daughter and I think I might have found what setting she changed. She sent me a frantic email tonight saying that all of her messages in her inbox were showing as attachments. I originally gave her the same answer as you did but I was finally able to duplicate her exact problem. I believe she probably checked the "read" tab and then checked read all messages in plain text.
Anyway, won't know until she gets home- she's gone to dinner and I've spent the whole night trying to find the answer to her problem.

To Welshjim & to my daughter.
Thanks to both of you, & the answer was in the options box under read, even though I had unchecked the box, I did not check apply & OK. After doing that, everything went back to normal.
Thanks again, I was totally frustrated with this problem & couldn't understand what was happening.
Lucy
