Multiple Users

I use Win 98 4.10.2222A with IE6 & OE6 (latest versions).
I also have Norton Internet Security 2003 installed.
I wish to procure multiple user logins such that "name1@sameaddress" cannot access "name2@same address" communications.
Should I use 1/ Microsoft Family Logon, 2/ Windows Logon or 3/ NIS accounts?

Little confused here. Your examples were in the form of email addresses. Are you trying to create different users for email? Internet? Computer Access? Or any/all of the above?

Edit:
The board doesnt like double posts..

In PM:

aleekat - thanks for your response - idealy all, but in order of importance - email addresses (using same "user names"), then Internet, then PC access. Thanks again, BebbSpoke.

Keep it on the board, there are smarter people than me who may have different solutions.

1. As far as email, you can set up different identities in Outlook or Outlook Express and have them password protected.

2. With Internet/PC access. Guess you can use Windows logon. But everything on the PC will be accessible to other users except the email accounts.

Someone else may have a better solution.

Using Outlook Express. with DIFFERENT login passwords, still does not prevent "n1@address" recieving mails specifically to "n2@(same)address. - Problem left on board...........

You have to create new identities for each individual user email address. Click on file, switch identities, manage identities, new.
If all you did was add accounts, then each individual when he opens OE, will see the others' email..

I just got through doing that very thing today.

You have to do it by setting up Identities, and having each identity as a default account. If each identity is not set as a default account, it will not connect to pop or smtp either one. Naturally when someone wants to check their mail, they will have to switch identities to do it.

Do not just add accounts. That does not work.

Delete any accounts that you've added, and then do as aleekat said, Click on file, switch identities, manage identities, new. After that it is self explanitory.
