    Hi,

Although I am fairly new to building websites, I think mine is pretty good?

Visiting my Mom, I noticed that some of the pictures on my site cannot be viewed at her computer.

She is using IE 5. I haven't heard of any problems viewing my site from any other friends & family, with the exception of AOL users.

I've used HTML & Javascript to build my site. It looks like her settings are correct for viewing my site, since I have viewed her settings under "tools/internet options/advanced." Although some of the settings I am unfamiliar with.

When I right click where a picture should be, and then select properties, it shows the proper name & location of the photo, even though I can't actually see the photo. But I do not see a border w/ a red X, which would indicate to me a broken link.

Any thoughts on fixing this problem would be apprieciated.

If you'd like to view my site it's

    Thanks, Alan

I cann't help much with your problem but, a COOL site. Lots of work I bet.
Only problem I had was a "counter error "
Just a long shot on your picture problem, what if you Rt. Click, then click on Show Picture?
I had that happen before and found it to be the Norton Firewall.
That's all the help I can offer, again a COOL site.

    mopar.

    Mopar,

Thanks for the lead. She does have Norton anti-virus, so maybe that is interfearing? Seems like a problem isolated to her computer, and not my site.

Glad you took the time to look at my site, and I'm happy to hear you liked it! I have put a lot of time into it, but it has been fun, and also a learning experience.

Seeing your user name reminds me that I should add a few shots of the 1970 Duster 340 I restored, but no longer have:(

    Cheers, Alan

    Lonny,

    Glad you liked the site!

I deleted her temorary internet files, and it worked great! Went to my site and all the pictures come right up. Thank-you very much.

When I get back from my trip, I plan to add more photos along with other improvements. I'm not exactly sure why, but I enjoy knowing that people (I don't even know) have visited my site, and liked it.

    Thanks again, Alan
