Question Importing Netscape 7 Email Into Outlook Express

Anyone know how to import Netscape 7 email into Outlook Express? I noticed that you can import Netscape 4 mail but can't figure out how to import Netscape 7 mail. Thanks in advance.

Here is what I could find, copied from the newsgroups (you may be able to get more information in the Netscape forum here). Basically you need to copy your Netscape 7 mail files, the ones without extensions, into your Netscspe 4.xx Mail folder (I'm assuming you have Netscape 4.xx Communicator installed). Open the Netscape 4.xx mail boxes so that the files are indexed, close Netscape, then open OE and import the mail from Netscape 4.xx.

You will need to also install an earlier version of Netscape 4.5 or so.
Many Mozilla or NS beta users already had such on their computers so its not
a problem. Then follow the instructions below:

1) Close all versions of Netscape completely.
2) Open C:\Windows\Application Data\Mozilla\Users50\"your profile
name"something.slt\Mail\"the mail account name"
3) Copy only the mail boxes not the msf files and paste these items onto the desktop.
4) Rename these boxes to unique mail folders names such as oldinbox6 or
oldsent6
5) Place these files into C:\Program Files\Netscape\Users\"Your
profile"\Mail
6) Next time you launch Netscape Communicator with that profile your
Netscape 6 mail should be in the containers with the names you specified.
7) You can then import them into Outlook Express using File/Import/Messages.

Mozilla uses the standard mbox format,

Last time I checked IE was a browser, so I guess you mean Outlook Express.
Outlook Express knows how to import from Netscape Communicator 4, which
uses the exact same format as Mozilla, the problem is OE does not
recognize Mozilla (it seems to me as if it looks for the Netscape 4
index files).
The easiest way would be to install Netscape 4, copy the mail files to
Netscape 4, index the mailboxes and then import from Netscape 4 with OE.
You could also search the internet for mailbox converters, but in my
opinion the Netscape 4 way is the safest.

I just wanted to add that your Netscape 7 profile location will vary but in all cases you will need to open the xxxxxxxx.slt\Mail\ mailserver folder (xxxxxxxx is a random string) to copy the mailbox files.

This is from http://www.hmetzger.de/pdl.html

(for Netscape7)
Default Profile Directory Locations:

Windows 95/98/ME:
C:\Windows\Application Data\Mozilla\Profiles\Netscape-Profile\xxxxxxxx.slt\

Windows 95/98/Me Family Logon:
C:\Windows\Profiles\PROFILE_NAME\Application Data\Mozilla\Profiles\Netscape-Profile\xxxxxxxx.slt\

Windows NT 4.0:
C:\Winnt\Profiles\NT-User\Application Data\Mozilla\Profiles\Netscape-Profile\xxxxxxxx.slt\

Windows 2000/XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\User\Application Data\Mozilla\Profiles\Netscape-Profile\xxxxxxxx.slt\

Note: In Windows 2000/XP, "Application Data" is a hidden system folder, that means, it's hidden "twice", make sure you enabled both viewing hidden and system-protected files and folders, otherwise you will not be able to see it.
