Hello, my PC stops working randomly, it could be at start, after booting, 5 minutes after I log into windows or 30 min. I tried using my start disk I created, and it froze, tried using memory check and it froze during analysis, tried using windows disk and same result. what it happens is that the cpu stops working although fans and indicators lights on cpu are still on, but the screen is black.
the only way I can turn it off is by pressing the start button on tower for 6 secs, if I try to boot computer right away, I start hearing a bip and it lasts until I turn it off again using the same method. I have to wait like for 10 min so I can turn it on again and not sure if it'll work.

    please someone can help me

    thanks in before hand

Looks like something is wrong either with power supply or motherboard. You can swap your power supply to test it. Check motherboard carefully for any leaking condensors.

#2 is not relevant to your issues, #1 indicates that the system crashed, but was unable to dump the contents of memory to disk as expected and #3 records an unexpected shutdown.

In addition to what rsinfo posted other causes could be faulty memory, faulty hard drive or some other hardware issue.

Updating drivers or the BIOS is very unlikely to provide a solution - I think you have a serious hardware problem.

On thing you could try is reseating the RAM if you feel confident to work inside the case.

With the computer powered down carefully remove each RAM module in turn, holding by the edges only, clean the contacts with a soft pencil eraser stroking down the contacts not across and replace the module in the motherboard.

I checked with mauro about how this turned out. mauro said the RAM was taken out and cleaned [the connectors] and it has been working fine since then.
