Hello everyone, my bios reports that the 12 volts is putting out between 11.73 and 11.79 volts, is the psu about to die or is it within the range limits

    Probably just fine.

Mine reports 11.55 - 11.67 V and seems to me has always been in this approximate range. So I would say your voltages are normal and PSU is OK.

I would agree - SIW shows mine at 11.65 and steady.

Interesting.... the only deviation I get is on the VCORE... between 1.05V and 1.13V my readings (Min/Max):

    CPU Core: 1.05V / 1.13V
    +12V: 12.10V / 12.10V
    AVCC: 3.33V / 3.33V
    +3.3V: 3.30V / 3.30V
    VIN1: 1.65V / 1.66V

    ... edit

After running for about 1 hour I also got a small deviation on my 12V rail:

    12.04V / 12.10V :)

When the psu was new it was at a little over 12 volts, the other day would not load windows and now it takes a couple of restarts to get into windows.

    FWIW here's mine:

    CPU Core 1.66 V
    +3.3 V 3.20 V
    +5 V 4.81 V
    +12 V 11.98 V
    -12 V -12.53 V
    -5 V -5.10 V
    +5 V Standby 4.92 V
    VBAT Battery 3.15v

All seems normal for me. Neil.

Here is what SIW lists there seems to be quite a difference between that and the BIOS
    Voltages
    CPU VCORE 1.23 V 1.14 V 1.39 V
    VIN1 4.02 V 4.02 V 4.02 V
    +3.3V 3.30 V 3.28 V 3.30 V
    +5V 6.83 V 6.83 V 6.83 V
    +12V 12.48 V 12.35 V 12.48 V
    -12V -6.34 V -6.34 V -6.27 V
    VBAT 3.31 V 3.31 V 3.31 V

came to the conclusion it was a display driver (I Hope) updated the driver

How did you come to that conclusion?

    This is of concern .....
I doubt that these sensors are accurate to 2 decimal places, let alone one, but the values highlighted above are out to way out.

It's a moot point as to how accurate these readings are - they are certainly not consistent between BIOS and SIW ....

    BIOS
    3.3 v -3.248v
    5v - 5.022v
    12v - 12.081v

    Corresponding values from SIW ...

    3.3v - 3.28v
    5v - 4.87v
    12v - 11.65v
