Can anyone explain the difference in DIMM CL2 and DIMM CL3 when referring to SDRAM Memory? Also is there any difference between DIMM and UDIMM?

CL2 SDRAM performs one process in the column addressing sequence in 2 clock cycles as opposed to 3 for CL3.
