I have this in my computer, the memory is in slots 2 & 3, they are a pair. Should they be in 1 & 2?

    2. AMD Mobile Athlon XP 2600+, 266 MHz FSB, 512K L2 Cache Processor

    3. Kingston HyperX (1gig X2 gig) 184pin DDR SDRAM 400 (PC3200) in slots 2 and 3.

I downloaded and checked two manuals via the ABIT Taiwan web site (downloaded from the "US" mirror site).

I assume your mobo is the "NF7-S2" model. You probably should download the manual and review it to be sure it's the same board.

    Both manuals state,
Therefore, I hypothesize you're OK as-is (but one doesn't know for sure if the English was written in Taiwan). ;)

Also, both manuals specify a max of 2GB of the 400 speed RAM.
