hello .
after ugrading my hard disk to 400 GB from 80GB i reinstalled the windows XP into my computer, and now I am having this problem whenever i want to play a vidoe full screen a blue screen shows up and gives me the error msg.
DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL.
Have you installed all the drivers? Start with the chipset/motherboard drivers, they may be a disk that came with the computer, but go to the manufacturer's website and get updates. Then do the same for the graphics and audio drivers, then any other drivers if the hardware doesn't seem to be working quite right.
Check in Device Manager that there are no problems listed and your hardware is listed correctly (like the display adapter).
If I have problems after a new install, I quickly consider reformatting again. Anyway, check if it could be drivers.
yes..
I have installed all the drivers ,for all hardwares...and no there is no problem listed on device manager.
yeah i was thinking the same ,if it would disply driver, but no ...i have updated and reinstalled the divers for disply no change....
You have updated the graphics drivers, I would still look for updated chipset drivers because they "oversee" the graphics drivers.
Looking again at the information, what video player do you use? I would uninstall and reinstall it. Check for information or updates at their website.
Have you tried reducing the resolution in the graphics adapter's settings? Do you know where they are? (I don't mean Windows display settings, if you have the graphics adapter's software "display manager" installed, use that.
Next step is to get dump readout Dump Data collection tool and instructions
although not many of us can read them in depth, but it may turn out to be simple. I could not find anything on sp50.sys.
Don't forget what I said about a reformat if you have not gone too far. My experience is that "bugs" tend to hang around and become tedious occasionally.
WELL,I reinstalled all the updates i could get for my system from chipset to graphic controllers ....
but didnt help.
and yeah I found out something else that ....it doesnt stop on full screen vidoe, if I am using DVD or downloaded video files in my computer.
it happens only when i want to watch full screen vidoes on websites, like youtube or facebook vidoes,or other broad costing video sites.
I thought about flashplayer update...i downloaded the latest flash player, still doing the same thing (going blue on full screen.)
and I reduced the graphic display and didnt help.
and yes i should admit I couldnt get dump readout.

There will be troubleshooting pages at those websites. They may not use Flashplayer or maybe they use a "plug-in". You might need to completely uninstall Flashplayer before reinstalling the latest version.
Like I mentioned, also check that you are using a suitable resolution. If you have a "wide screen", a 16:9 or 16:10 ratio, don't use a 4:3 ratio resolution or visa versa.
