I have tried to install my Visioneer 8920 Scanner but I get an error that says :
Windows cannot find C:\WINDOWS\twain_32\vizscan\8xxx\BMUInst.EXE

I can't acquire anything. Help please.

Please observe Posting Rules #3 - Meaningful Subject - I have adjusted your title.

Quote:
You might wonder why a good subject is important. First it will act as a 'filter' for people that might be interested in reading your post. With just a subject of "Need Help with my computer", quite a few members will just skip your post. Furthermore, it would force one of our staff members to read your post & decide on the appropriate title. This takes time away from answering posts.

Another reason why we ask for appropriate titles is that this makes the WindowsBBS search more useful. If you post "I receive an error STOP: 0x00000050 after the desktop loads", a user doing a search on the "STOP: 0x00000050" error will most likely find your post in his search results & may be able to solve his problem with the solution (you hopefully received).

Using a good subject line is also helpful to Internet search engines (Google, MSN and others), it helps them to properly index your post, so when another user is searching for an answer to the same (or similar) problem/issue he may come across your post.

Hmm - I see you have posted the same question here ....

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/in...1140441AAjSBoG

We do not encourage posting the same question on other forums simultaneously as this wastes the efforts of members of both boards all of whom are volunteers. It is counterproductive in that we do not know what advice you have been offered elsewhere or what actions you have taken.

I suggest you uninstall the drivers following the instructions and reinstall using the latest drivers from here ....
