A MicroATX motherboard should fit in an ATX computer case, right?

Hi bg3075, yes would be the answer - if the case has the necessary mounting holes and if you can use the end plate. I've done it once but generally you have heaps of space. Good for ventilation. Neil.

End plate? Not sure what you mean by that. Do you mean the "I/O shield" - that 1.75 x 6 piece of flimsy metal that snaps in the case where all the motherboards I/O ports are grouped?

RL is right, you can put a MicroATX motherboard in an ATX case with no problems. The only issue to be concerned about is ensuring you do not install extra standoffs under the motherboard - make sure you only have a standoff where there is a corresponding motherboard hole.
