I have a Canon IP3500 printer which will allow me to select DRAFT mode. I would like (as I had on Win98) to have two copies of the printer installed so that I can have one for regular mode and one for draft. I was told by Dell that WinXP would not allow me to have two copies in the ControlPanel/Printer, one for standard quality and one for draft quality.
IF that is right, is there a way to have a Keyboard macro that would activate the mode of the printer when ready to print?

Have you actually tried to install the printer a second time using the Add Printer Wizard - I have a feeling that I was in that situation at some time in the past.
Hmm - memory dulls with time - must have been in the Win98 days then
I am rather doubtful that a macro solution is possible - the change from Draft to Regular is within the printer software which is not invoked until the Print command is given.
