Getting information about devices through debug

Hello

How can I get information about a certain device(vga card, sound card) through "debug" command? I know that there is a command like "d0000:1000" etc, but I don't know the address of the device: Can anyone tell me the address for the VGA and Sound card plz?

thanx
shareek

debug info

hello shareek, without knowing your particulars and as an example only, if you were running w9x, in would suggest that you first use some diagnostics like MSD, to obtain the various address' from which you may start your debug search.
