Thumbs down USB 2.0 mouse

Hi
when I reinstalled my XP I discovered problem- copputer doesn't recognize my usb mouse. I asked some poeple what might be the problem and they answered that the problem is in the BIOS. So what do I have to change in the BIOS to make my mouse work when I next time will reinstall my XP?
Thank You =)

Look in the BIOS for an option to enable "Legecy USB Devices."
