I purchased a computer rather than building one this time around due to laziness, and can't seem to pinpoint what could be causing this issue. I randomly receive the blue screen of death (BSOD) that details a RAM STOP error. I have the messages written down while it did its memory dump. They look similar to:
*** STOP 0x00000000 (0x.., 0x.., 0x.., 0x..)
Everytime this has happened and I've captured the exact hexes, it's always the third address in the parentheses that's different.
Hardware details:
Motherboard using onboard video/sound/nic
2 GB RAM (4 x 512)
160G SATA HD
Software details:
Factory installed Windows Media Center (w/SP2)
No other random proggies. I haven't set this computer up fully just in case something like this happens in the first 30 days.
The error is random, but seems to always happen when using applications that go out to the internet including Firefox, IE, Outlook, and even Money. Using the internet functionality of those apps will cause a BSOD, and I can recreate it by using Gmail on my Firefox while simultaneously trying to edit a fantasy baseball team on IE. But just normally using Money or Outlook w/o accessing the web, it works fine.
Maybe I shouldn't have been lazy, but the deal was too tempting and rather than return it, I'd rather just fix what's broken. I don't think this is a driver issue because it was working fine for some time and I haven't added any hardware to it because it has everything I need. It just started happening randomly. Sometimes when I shake the mouse to bring my computer back from screensaver mode (hibernate is disabled, turn off HDs is disabled), it won't come back either; I have to hard reset.
Any help is appreciated. Oh, and I can't increase my virtual memory beyond 4196K if that helps any (I'm assuming this is because of on-board video).

This is a very common bugcheck. Usually the exception address pinpoints
the driver/function that caused the problem. Always note this address
as well as the link date of the driver/image that contains this address.
Some common problems are exception code 0x80000003. This means a hard
coded breakpoint or assertion was hit, but this system was booted
/NODEBUG. This is not supposed to happen as developers should never have
hardcoded breakpoints in retail code, but ...
If this happens, make sure a debugger gets connected, and the

I'm not sure what's causing the issue anymore. I received replacement memory, fdisked, repartitioned, and clean reinstall of O/S. Each time I installed an app, I would run it once, close it, then reboot the machine. This worked without issue for things like all necessary XP updates, antivirus, and firewall software installs: basically, the necessary s/w baseline.
Nothing happened until I got to Firefox. Previously, I was able to recreate the BSOD at will by opening a Firefox and IE browser and having both of them churn on any page. I would then be assured to see the memory stop error. This time, I had new memory in my machine, verified that it was seeing the full 2G, and Firefox installed fine. I did not run Firefox because I wanted to see what would happen if I just restarted the machine first, before it began creating structures on my machine after running it.
Voila, the BSOD appeared. My machine got so far as to the "Windows is restarting" or shutting down, whatever the message is, and then the BSOD appeared. I then restarted the machine, uninstalled Firefox and reg entries, continued with other software, and have not seen it since.
I was hoping to get a memory.dmp file to post on here, but even that wasn't written to the drive it was supposed to be in. I don't know what could be causing it now, and if no one else knows, mods - Please delete this thread. If it happens again, I'll do a new post.
