Reformated HD

Hi My friend has a HD that she wanted reformated , everything had been erased , anyway when I started on it I fdisk , deleted everything there, set up new partition , reformated and installed win 98se. Everything works fine ,now for the good part , when I reboot press f8 to go into safe mode it shows win2000 advanced, where that came from I haven't ask yet can't go into safe mode there, How do I get rid of it?? I can go into msconfig ,advance and enable startup and go into safe mode ok . I thought everything should have been wiped out when I deleted all partitions and set it back up and reformated. Thanks
