remoteapproach

Hi

Recently I downloaded a pdf file from the net and when i scanned it nothing was found. However, when I tried to open it along with the pdf another window popped up and it tried to connect to remoteapproach.com

Has anyone ever encountered this and is it some kind of threat?

Thank you

Hi

Thank you for the link. I have disabled the JavaScript since I do not use it as suggested in the article. However, since this document still have this tracking setting will it be safe to open it once JavaScript is disabled or shall I delete it?

Thank you

You should be able to open the file without it reporting back if JavaScript is disabled.
