I read (sometime back) BUT can't find it now, what i thought was a H*** of a good setup ( BUT at the time was over kill).
This person (and i'm trying to recall) had a extra old computer that just did his/her E-Mail.... I think it said it was running Apache server and used Pegasus as the client program cause it had better filters and so on.
I have a old puter hanging around and i bet alot of us do, it sounds better today than it did then with this dang e-mail going ballistic with junk.
Come on gang, what do you do OR whats the best setup COS oe 6 with rules just doesn't get the job done.
Thx

Viruses
If you're using OE, place it in the Restricted Zone and make sure that you apply all patches as soon as they become available. Don't open attachments unless expected. Run an AV in realtime and update it regularly and frequently (but forget about POP3 scanning which is simply a waste of resources). Run a script protection utility (such as this).
Add to the above a firewall (such as Kerio) and you'll be pretty safe from most hazards.
