Trend Micro removal

Hi. Can anyone please help me? I have Trend Micro Internet Security downloaded and it started to mess up badly. I can't remove it by any conventional means and I want it off of my computer completely. How can I do this? I am now using Avast Home along with SpyBot: Search and Destroy.

I just read your other thread Choosing a firewall

How do I remove Trend Micro Security Suite

With Trend Micro security suite still on the computer and you downloaded and installed comodo and the windows security center is not acknowledging the third party software you've got a confused setup. I'd say start over by downloading - but not installing yet - to your desktop comodo, avast and CCleaner. You can download CCleaner slim no toolbar here. Read more about CCleaner here Go offline/disconnect your computer from the internet after you have successfully downloaded full versions of comodo and avast and ccleaner. Then completely uninstall trend micro security suite using the above removal instructions. Run ccleaner to clean up temp files. Then proceed to install comodo (turn off comodo anti-virus if you've downloaded version which includes it) and avast. By ripping everything out and starting over, which is what I would do, you'll know everything is installed correctly and working as it should without conflicts.
