Vista Live 1 Care & Safe Software

I am new to Win Vista and have Win One Care installed. My broadband ISP is Qwest with MSN.

Is the following software, latest versions downloaded 15 Nov from the Companies Site safe to use with Win One Care?
Adaware, Spy Bot Search & Destroy, CCleaner, AVG Free 7, AVG Free Firewall

Is there any part/s of One Care that should be disabled?

If this is in the wrong forum I appoligize.

Thank You Oldbear

My System

Hi oldbear
You should have only one Anti-virus and only one Firewall running, So running both AVG AV and Firewall and One Care is not a good idea.
Check here also.

"I have another antivirus or firewall program. Can I also install Windows Live OneCare?"

Ad-Aware and SpyBot S/D should not be a problem, these are mostly used as a stand alone scanner anyway, and a good idea to check your system with them.

CCleaner is a temp cleaner and should not cause any problems.

The only precaution to take with Ad-aware and Spybot is this: sometimes they will identify the backagent in other anti-spyware programs and delete it if you allow them to by not being careful as to what it is that is being deleted. In fact, I've been told by three companies now: F-Secure, BitDefender and NOD32 (ESET) to "not" have either of these free, standalone programs in conjunction with their programs. So, I caution you that if you want to use either or both of them, be careful what it is you allow them to identify and delete. It could lead to trouble (i.e. a non-functioning anti-virus, anti-spyware, internet security suite program).
