Very slow boot-up on MSN Premium

    I use MSN Premium as my ISP, under a contract with Verizon. In the last few days, the time between clicking on the MSN icon on the desktop and getting to my home page has stretched out to almost seven minutes. It used to be about 90 seconds.

    I've cleaned out the unwanted cookies (Window Washer), the spyware (Spy Sweeper), cleaned out the register and the TEMP files (Advanced System Care). They have given me a brief respite, but I'm back to about seven minutes again two days later.

    Does anyone have any tips about what might be affecting MSN start-up time?

    Have you tried using a different Home Page to see if anything changes?
