My System

windows update that downloads but will not install
hi guys
I have been tiring too download & install this update for over a week now.....Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 and .NET Framework 3.5 Family Update (KB951847) x86 (update 1 of 1). But it only gets too 99% then stops & after 5Min's or so it says failed & I get this code 0x800A1391 have looked everywhere but it only seems to point too .net framework SP 1 , SP2 not having any probs with other updates just this on but did read somewhere that it causes when install the computer too keep rebooting any help would appreciate

Four suggestions are listed in this article: The Windows Update Web site or the Microsoft Update Web site does not appear, and you receive the following error message: "Initialization error 0x800A1391", I suggest you try them one by one.

hi steve Iam using windows xp home SP3. as for the microsoft data base its not much help thanxs anyway guys
