Internet Cuts Out When Computer Idle

I recently got a wireless router for my home. Everything works fine until I leave my computer for an hour or so and then come back. My connection is cut and I have to turn the router on and off to get the connection back. I know this happens every once in a while but this is every time.

I am wondering if there is some kind of settings that I should check on my windows or some way to check the settings on the router before I call my ISP about it.

For the record I have one computer with Vista and one computer (the one that is connected via wire to the router) on Windows.

Thanks for any tips.

Ok, I can't find that manual but I found one for DSL-2640D, I'm assuming they're similar...

You may need to set the "Keep Alive" setting on "Section 5 - Home" page 26 in the manual link above (Right hand side - Product Manual).

Let me know if that helps.
