    Hi,

Trying to use Skype in Oman but it is blocked. To overcome this i downloaded Go trusted software that creats a tunnel through the blocking server, unfortunatley this software has issues with my Broadband Modem and cannot detect a live internet connection. Have contacted the site technical department who have informed me that i must change the USB modem to NDIS, below is the answer that they have given me but do not understand how to get to the preference menue to change to NDIS mode any help please step by step

You must set your USB modem/aircard to use 'NDIS Mode.' On Verizon, from the VZAccess Manager > Tools > Preferances menu. Picture here. Sprint and AT&T has a similar setting from its Connection Manager. This is not an issue on Windows XP, and you may use the default modem settings for that OS.

I don't think we should try to re-invent the wheel; just do a Google Search for UAE Skype block & you'll find all that you need.
