Can't access yahoo sites

Hi
I am using IE 7 ver 7.0.6001.18000 and Vista Home Premium. I use yahoo mail for some of my email and also belong to some yahoo groups. For two days now, whenever I try to access yahoo pages I get the message "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage". I have tried both with the yahoo toolbar and also searching yahoo and clicking on links. I can access yahoo on my phone so it can't be a yahoo problem. I ran spyware detector and avast antivirus but nothing is helping.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Sharon

Do you have pop-up blocker turned on? Some web sites use a lot of pop-ups on their site. Turn blocker off and try a Yahoo site.

This could be an ISP issue. Try to ping yahoo.com. If you can ping it, just give the ip address instead of yahoo.com in your browser & try again.

Thanks for all your help. I guess it was a problem with my internet provider. I called them on another issue and heard a recording that people couldn't access yahoo and their techs were working on it. They fixed whatever it was and I can yahoo again!
