My System

After downloading MS Updates cannot connect to internet
Title says it all. Here is HiJack this log and I see one item first under 010
that makes me suspicious. Wondering if anyone else has had this situation adfterdownloading updates.

Can these updates be installed from Safe Mode? I have my PC set to download automatically but not install except on my command.

I have not looked at that option, but if it is possible surely the end result will be the same? I would just uninstall the hotfix listed in the post from TeMerc.

Zone Labs issued a fix for their part in this problem I downloaded and installed it this morning.

Hope this fixes the prioblem for all.

Yes I am having a problem with not being able to connect to the internet, but I think it is an incompatibility between the updates and Zone alarm. At least Zone Alarm sent an email to me regarding this issue but it was only related to a specific update (and I checked to see if I had installed it, but I don't see it) so know I don't know what to do.

Geez I hope there is an easy solution to this cause I am a real dummy and blonde to boot and could use an easy fix to this problem.
