Unable to search the internet

I am using Windows XP. Home page is Yahoo..... however, when I try to search something on the internet the page just stays the same. It does not search or go anywhere.

Can you tell me what might have happened. It worked fine up until now. Has not worked for two days.

I know next to nothing about computers.... Thanks

Any help would be appreciated.

My System
In IE, go Tools>Internet Settings>Advanced tab, click on Reset button.
Restart computer, and try again.
Also, try Firefox.

Smile

You can also try IEfix, which you can download here: (though not sure it works with IE7)

http://windowsxp.mvps.org/IEFIX.htm

or PcStress, which can be found here:
