I have Windows XP on my computer. Does anyone know how to convert my Favorites to Bookmarks so that I could upload them to a web site and retrieve them from any computer? Thank you. abm

Not sure if this is what you want, but .......

If you create a folder in your Favorites, then add URLs (shortcuts) to that folder, you can upload that folder. You can then access the list of URLs (will be named as in your Favorites with a .url extension) inside the folder by entering the address of the uploaded folder. Take note that when you do this, the Parent directory is available as well (the folder that contains the SP2 folder), and if not protected, can be accessed with just a click.

    To Dave

Thank you for your message. I tried it but it doesn't work. I cannot upload it to the web site. Do you of any web site that will let me upload Favorites (as compared to Bookmarks) so that I can access them from another computer? Thank you. abm

There are many free web sites that let you have your bookmarks/favorite on line? Have you already picked out one of these free sites? If so, do they have an instruction page/support section?

You can easily export your IE Favorites as Bookmarks by opening the IE browser and clicking on File > Import Export > and following the Wizard's directions. That will allow you to export the favorites folder as a single HTM file that can be uploaded to any web space and accessed from any computer that you use. You could also E-mail that HTM file to your web based mail box and access it that way.
