Oh boy, this is embarrassing!
I DID SOMETHING MARVELOUS BUT I CAN'T REMEMBER HOW !!!
Darn, I write my howtos about everything, but I lost this one...
I was running Outlook on two Win9x machines, and I wanted to synch their message databases.
After much thinking I had figured how to set up the same data to be opened on both computers as if it was the main user's message base, so I just had to close Outlook and copy the PST files between the two.
I remember I did something like generating an identity on one machine, copying the hashes from one rgistry to the other and voilà, it all worked like a clockwork....
Now, one PC has died, and I don't have the slightest & foggiest of how exactly I had done it.
Question:
- Can something like this (cloning an Outlook identity) be done under Win2k or winXP?
- HOW???
Tearfully mourning my self-inflicted
loss of insight and understanding, I remain...
