Defaulting the browser?

I installed Avant Browser and like it very much when I first installed it, it asked me if I wanted to default it and I said no at the time. Now I want to default it and can't figure out how. I've even uninstalled it and re-installed it.
Don't see it in internet options. could anyone tell me how to change it?

I don't have Avant but managed to find this.
Quote:
To set Avant Browser as your default web browser, open up Avant Browser and select Tools > Avant Browser Options. In the Catagory list, select Files and Protocols and click the button labeled "Set Avant Browser as the defualt web browser".
This comes from this webpage. http://avant.it-mate.co.uk/default.asp?c=Tips&s=4
