AOL and Broadband

Hi,

I have Comcast Broadband. I pay $9.00 per month for AOL broadband access. I use IE 6.0 and Win 98SE. With broadband access to AOL most but not all of the "problems" with AOL go away. I have one problem for which I cannot find help. I cannot access the internet from within AOL. The reason this is important is because AOL uses WWW to access some of its windows and most of its keywords. AOL tech service suggested a possible registry problem which he thinks he saw mentioned somewhere in MS. That's like looking for water in a desert. The failure I receive is the typical IE failure screen indicating a connection cannot be made. The "white screen of death" as it were. I have searched for this solution long enough to have upgraded form IE 4.0 to IE 6.0 over time. The same problem exists with each "improvement" from MS. I also have upgraded from AOL 5 to AOL 7 over the same period of time.

Any Ideas?

Howie
