I can't play any online radio stations anymore. I do not
know what happened. I keep getting errors, either
station is down, or keeps reconnecting.

I run adaware and spybot on my computer, could I have
accidentally stopped them from playing somehow?

If I do a restore, will that solve my problem?

Ad-aware and Spybot won't cause that problem.

System Restore might help if your problem was a damaged system file. That probably isn't the case though.

Do you run a firewall? That would include the one that comes with XP and if you aren't sure, open your help section and look for ICF for details.

I have been listening to online radio stations since I got my laptop. It has xp. I also have a hub which has a built in firewall. The radio station has always worked with both, however, out of the blue the radio stations do not work anymore. I have tried numerous stations to no avail.

Thanks for the insite, keep the advice coming please.

drecollet--Are you getting any error messages? If so, please post.
As you know you need a "player" (like Windows Media Player, WinAmp, etc.) to access a station on the internet. Could your present player be damaged? You could try unininstalling and reinstalling. And has been mentioned, any player needs access through your firewall. Check the firewall's settings to be sure the player's access is not being denied.
