pepperflash ***** and makes flash games i used to enjoy unbearable to play, it is SO slow. i used to be able to disable pepperflash and just use regular adobe flash.... but htey have somehow disabled this choice....... is there some way to trick chrome into thinking that regular adobe flash is pepperflash or something?

pepperflash causes severe lag. the games arent even fun.

Hi Mel, Looks like you need an answer. My suggestion would be to try another browser if all you can get from "Chrome" is not satisfactory.
Being 'forced' to use something that doesn't give 100% results is not for me. Neil.

I know how to disable pepperflash, it is disabled. That google page is the fix that used to work.

The problem is that before, it allowed both pepperflash and standalone downloaded adobe flash to coexist/be installed (with adobe version enabled and pepperflash disabled). This does not work anymore... if i try downloading flash in chrome, all it does is send me to a page telling me how to enable pepperflash.

I have been using firefox for flash related things in the meantime... but id really like to continue doing everything all from the one browser, like i used to.

Maybe if you uninstall both Pepperflash and Adobe completely from your HDD and then go to Adobe and get the latest version to install. Neil.
