Internet browsers crash

    I have windows 8 running classic shell w/ W7... Have had no issue until recently... Here goes:

    Where to post my issues, please..

    IE crashes when I d/l a purchased video/e-book.

    Firefox and Chrome both continually flash when d/l same materials attempted, repeatedly trying to open, but failing...

    Thank you for your suggestions..:D

    Hi Blue Star. Since you are having issues with all the Internet browsers, I moved your thread to the General Internet forum.

    Do those browsers crash just on that one website? Do the Internet browsers work on all the other sites that you visit? What is the name of the site that causes the browsers to crash?

    not aware of a specific site, however, the hanging, crashing, not responding may be due to my running Classic shell windows 7 on my W8 computer.. Yes?

    I doubt Classic Shell would cause this issue, unless you are running an old version.

    I would try starting IE with no add-ons and see if the same behavior occurs.

    To run IE with no add-ons click Start< Run and type iexplore.exe -extoff and hit enter.
