I use Google Chrome as my primary browser, and I do a lot of print-to-PDF. In other browsers, it is rather fast, but in Chrome, it is dreadfully slow. What I mean is that after telling Chrome to print a page, and then selecting the CutePDF printer, it takes a looooong time before I get the Save As dialog window.

I looked inside Chrome's options, but didn't see anything related to anything that might speed this process up. Is there anythying I can do to speed this up in Chrome?

I have the adobe and Chrome's native PDF plugin disabled (I use PDFXChange). Is there anything else I can do?

A bit of a solution: I found that Chrome has its own Print to PDF function. That does speed things up a bit. When printing to PDF from within Chrome, I just don't use CutePDF now.

    Thanks for your information.

I don't use Chrome (other then some testing in a VM), and for printing to PDF I use PrimoPDF.
