My System

Seasoned Web purchasers - MS Live - 30% Cashback - eBay purchases

Their are many tricks in pursuing purchases on the Internet.
During this ugly downturn of the USA/World economies, I encourage constraint and prudent purchases. With the upcoming holidays, many of us have some purchases we want to pursue for family and friends.
Microsoft has recently started a promotion to encourage shoppers to use their Live Search portal (yes, they are competing for search looks against Google).
How Live Search cashback works
MS Live Search - Store Listings - Discounts Available.

The above is nice if you want to shop at your PREFERRED merchant. Just create/enroll in a "Live Search" account (your MS Hotmail logon's works fine) and travel to your merchant from MS Live portal.

Currently MS Live is offering a 30% Cash Back DISCOUNT to many offerings at eBay. This does require you to have a PayPal account (verified) and to make purchases via the "Buy Now" option (no auction/bidding purchases) along with MS Live account.
I have made two purchases over the past 4 days and so far the proper credit has been posted to my MS Live account. Keep in mind, pay out is not for 60 days (or longer), at which time you can request your cash credit be paid out.

Like with any "Deal", buyer be wary. When selecting participating eBay sellers, ALWAYS check their seller rating. Also do your research and more research on comparing good deals from your normal suppliers / warranties / return privileges and costs.

The last part of the "unknown puzzle", is how well will "MS Live Search" pays out the cashback credit. As of now, I do NOT know anyone who has yet received (must wait 60 days after purchase ) their earned cashback credit.

Have no idea how long this 30% eBay offer will continue. Their is a $200 maximum cashback credit PER purchase (do not go OVER $666.66 per purchase) How many times you can qualify for repeating purchases, no one knows .. but many have made numerous purchases and the proper cashback credit continues to show up in the MS Live payout account.

PLEASE folks, be a prudent shopper and understand ALL of the risks. My choice to pursue this is my choice, you must make your own and accept the risk. My choice is based on eBay policing their sellers and Microsoft's financial strength in meeting their cashback obligations.

If ANYONE is interested in a few shortcut's and "What you need to SEE on the screen" when pursuing 30% cashback, eBay purchases, give me a shout.

Hi,
I'm new to this and I'm wondering exactly how the 30% Ebay cash back does actually work. I do have a Paypal account and I just registered for MS live.
Thanks!
Sandra
