A communication system that connect a group

Dear all,

In fact, I don't know where to go and if I am in the right place to seek advice.. PLease excuse me if I am bothering.

I am a volunteer communication officer (not military) in a 1500 members group. Aside from creating a group on msn or yahoo or similar, I am searching for a system that allows me to communicate data (events, calendars, date of meetings, programmes, etc..) to members whose emails and mobile numbers are in my database.

Could you please advise.

Thank you

Google is a good place to start. Check here for Calendar https://www.google.com/accounts/Serv...endar%2Frender I use the calendar to keep a schedule for a club I am involved in. All the people have access to the calendar and can check it at any time.

For other things such as meeting notices, flyers, and other communications, you might try Google documents. http://https://www.google.com/accoun...epage&rm=false I haven't used Google Documents for my group but it appears to let you post correspondence, spreadsheets, etc and then communicate the location of the information via e-mail.

It appears my link to the documents is no good. Go to Google home page and click on "more" and then "Documents".
