Apparently still enough to make it worthwhile. Greed is a powerful emotion that overrides reason on many an occasion.

Nice to see you get MS Offers in Aus Bill. I don't know whether it's a sign of the times, but these money scams are getting more prolific - I see about 20 a week in my TB Junk Folder.
The funny thing is - if they were all genuine - I would be a multi-billionaire by now.:D
    Still dreaming zzzzzzzz. Neil.;)

It bounced. Maybe one of the others that is in the mail will be OK. :D

The only ones of these that I see are in my Junk Mail folder in G-mail and Hotmail. Usually about 5 or 6 a day. None in my real e-mail that I use for most of my stuff.

It's nice to know this problem is Global Mr. Bill. I suppose your Junk Folder gets dumped every week!
The MS guys ringing cold to tell you that you have errors in your computer is tame compared to these multi- million dollar scams.
What surprises me - is the number of people who get caught up with them and lose thousands of dollars to them.
The other scam that's catching huge numbers of single females, is the guys on the Dating web sites. We had one reported the other night on TV who had paid the guy $70,000.00 on the premise that he was severely ill and had medical bills to pay.
Barnum & Bailey got it right - "There's a sucker born every minute ". Neil.

Have a good friend who live is Christchurch and he cusses them everytime he sees one. I told him years ago, just delete them without opening them up and the will slow down or cease just about comepletely. He did and I don't hear him cussing them anymore. lol

Yes, Shift + Delete works for me but now and again I have a peep to see what's new in the scam world.
Has your friend survived the Quakes and ongoing tremors?
I've met a number of Cantabs who have come to Wellington to live and we're supposed to be the earthquake Capital. Neil.

Here's a link to give you an idea what's happened in Canterbury since the first big quake on Sept 4th 2010. Have a look at Quick Links > View Animation > Sept 4th 2010.
It's mind blowing and you can't help but feel sorry for them - the last after shock was only an hour ago. Neil.

He had sent me some pictures right after it happened. Your right about feeling for them. Tornado's are a bad thing in the States. I live where we have Hurricanes, but at least with them you have several days of warnings.

I could open up a Pharmacy with all the little blue pill offers. That would be better than getting one of them big checks. This would be CASH only. :D
