    Hi All,

This is my first time posting on this BB. I'm in a Network environment where we have XP Pro installed. The problem is with NS7.0 on just one machine. Others were done nicely.

After running setup.exe, it downloads the files, verifies the integrity and just when it shows the installation box, it crashes. An error comes back telling "An error has occurred. Save your work ".

It shouldn't be a rights issue cause I'm logged in as Admin.

    Will greatly appreciate any help.

    Welcome to the Forum, JagmoN!

    Hi JagmoN,

I read on the Netscape Newsgroup that both MS and NS are looking into a problem with ZLIB.DLL, a common file that can cause a -207 error. Look for it in the Windows or NT directory (folder). If found, rename to ZLIB_DLL.BAD. Try installing NS again.

This usually occurs after installing SP1. I hope this will work for you.

    Ramona,

    God bless you.

The installtion worked like there's no tomorrow

Thank you so much. Just one thing that is still bothering me, why then it worked on other machines also with SP1 installed?
BTW are we talking about Windows XP SP1 or Novell SP1???

    Hi JagmoN,

Woohoooo! Glad to hear the fix worked for you!

I was referring to XP SP1.
