the buttons on my yahoo e-mail do not work in Firefox on my computer.

the buttons work on Internet explorer on my computer and in firefox on another computer. I tried to eliminate recent addons and I tried to restore the computer to an earlier time, but no luck.

att-yahoo does not provide assistance with firefox so they were no help.

Is there anyway I can remove the yahoo e-mail program/software and reinstall it?

any other suggestions will be appreciated. It is not a big deal, but it is a nuisance.

Yes, they are suggestions. If you are have problems with mail client, use the wWebmail approach. I don't know if feePOP is a solution to set up yahoo-att, but it works with plain yahoo.
You select the server as "localhost", port 2000, and the account would be the username, i.e. for yahoo it would be username@yahoo.com, not just username.
I know that yahoo-att is playing games.
