Angry Links in T'bird No Longer Open F'fox

Why is it that all of a sudden none of my links in my e-mails in T'bird 2.0.0.21 will open in F'fox 3.0.9 when I click on them?

Firefox must be the default browser. In theory, it should be enough to select your desired browser via Control Panel|Add/Remove|Program Access and default (in the column on the left)|Custom (settings). For me it does no good, as I have two other versions of Firefox. One different from the standard 3.0.9 used to me the default browser, but it is no more, but I can have the one which is selected as default to open TB links.
I am certain that your problem is different, but it is odd.
