Unhappy Firefox keeps crashing when I try to upload photos in Myspace

Every time I try to upload my pictures to my Myspace Firefox freezes and crashes. I'm very close to using another web browser [prefreably one that can transfer all my bookmarks from Firefox]. Can anyone help me? Please?

What kind of operating system do you have? Also which version of Firefox.
I am using WinXP with 3.0.7, with no problem, but 98SE crashes Firefox2.0.020, at least once each day. I get an "Illegal Operation at msvcrt.dll". Anything like that? Does it just freeze, or it crashes, also (i.e, it shuts down)?

Uninstalled Firefox... hopefully this'll work.

I have Winows Vista and 3.0.7. version of Firefox. Every time I try to use upload pictures on Myspace it freezes and then when I push the close button it says that it's not responding would I like to close it or see if Windows can sort it out and find a cure.

No, sorry. I had to switch completely. The only problem I think it is is that it might be the fact that I have a 64bit processor. I had to switch completely. v_v Have you tried installing IE8?

Welcome to the Form, FuzzyxPanda!

FuzzyxPanda,

Do you have the IE Tab Add-on installed? If not, install the Add-on, then try uploading a photo to MySpace.

I got mixed reviews about Opera. Do you use it and does it work well for you?

Sniper, come on, where's your loyalty man? This is a Mozilla Forum after all, and we don't want to sell the competition now, do we?

Opera is a nice browser and I've used it, but Firefox is ever so much better!

Ah good to know! ^_^ That's what I've mostly been hearing that Firefox was better... but I've switched to Goggle Chrome. I feel like a betrayer. XD But if this question would be any help to anyone else then right on for them. ^-^ [And I might end up going back in the end.]
