I had a virus and some spyware. Think I removed it all with Spywaredoctor/Antivirus. Now Seamonkey won't launch. IE is fine. Any ideas?

    Winxp home
    Latest ver of SeaMonkey

Seamonkey is comprised of two different components. One is the program, by default located in Program Files|mozilla.org| Seamonkey.
Part two is the Profile, which is in a hidden folder, in C:\Documents and Settings\user_name\Application Data\mozilla.org\SeaMonkey\Profiles
Your profile is, likely to be named Default, and it will have onefolder of the type xxxxx.slt. Do you know how to view hidden folders?
If your profile is present, and there is every file, the link to the program may be broken. Otherwise, your program/profile may have removed too much.
Try to create a new profile. Click on Start|Programs|Seamonkey|Profile Manager

Hi, it is as you say. There is a .slt file. When attempting to create a new profile nothing happens when I click on Profile Manager. (nothing happens when I click on the seamonkey icon anywhere on my computer). It's as if SM is not there. Could I remove SM from control panel and reinstall?

I would have said yes, about uninstalling and reinstalling if I had seen your replies. Fortunately, I never experienced anything like you did, but I would not be on anything.
