My System

Ns_error_failure

SeaMonkey, Win2K...
If I have QuickLaunch enabled, when Windows kicks in, I'm getting the above error, whicj reads:
Component returned failure code: 0x80004005 (INS_ERROR_FAILURE)
[nslControllers.removeController]

I click OK, and the error comes back. I can't start SeaMonkey, unless I exit QuickLaunch.
If QuickLaunch is disabled, there is no error.
Any thoughts?

I don't have your problem, but Quick Launch in Seamonkey, sure isn't. In first place the Seamonkey icon is the last thing to show up in the Taskbar. In second place, the first click does not work. The second click does, and it takes almost as long as without QL. Considering all the lags, it takes me nearly twice as long with QL, than without it.
I am using Seamonkey1.1.2. Which one do you have?

My System

My version is 1.1.2, as well.
Overall, SeaMonkey seems to me to be slower, then Mozilla Suite, which used to be my default browser. It's strange to me, since they are both, practically, same programs.
I switched to SM, since Mozilla Suite won't be supported anymore. I may go back to Mozilla for a time being...

SM1.1.2 is not slow, if you don't use Quick Launch, which I don't need, anyway.
However, SM1.1.2 has a bad flaw, confirmed by only another person. If I use tabs, and open a different page in the same tab, it will show the previous URL. There is no back arrow, but if I want to get back to the previous page, I hit enter. This odd behavior does not occur with other tabs (I have four of them).
Anyway, I prefer the standalone pair of Firefox/Thunderbird, so I am using Seamonkey only for old time sake.
