I am using Netscape 7.2 now for two years for mail on three different computers (two-XP and one 2000). On Wednesday I encountered the following error message while attempting to get mail from own domain server on my laptop using a hotspot: "The STAT command did not succeed. Error getting message number and sizes. Mail server orionrealty.com responded: ."
Later the same day, using my own wireless network, the laptop received mail. But my other two machines (one wirless and one wired) both gave the same error message immediately following login.
One of the machines also gets mail from a pop account with no problem. What causes this?
