Importing netscape 7 mail to Outlook: redux

Hello, my apologies if I'm made a mistake here, but I tried to add a post to the thread on this from December 05 and it said the thread was too old.

I followed the instructions in the link listed in the thread, and I thought I did it correctly. However, in the end there was no content in the folders.

If Mr. Lawnin sees this.....would you mind advising how you followed the process? I am guessing that the error occurred when I copied the folders "without the msf extension." Did you do that by copying the files, then deleting the extension? If you want to get back to me by email, as this might go back and forth a couple times, I'd be grateful.

It's always best to start a new thread of your own, rather than try to add to an old thread.

If you will follow this guideline, you should have no problem importing your Mail:
Importing Netscape 7 Mail to Outlook Express, or Outlook

that was the exact link I used. my question was about ....probalby translating some of those instructions....as it did not work for me. I'm not a totally newby to technology, but not extremely experienced...
